JMA conducted a facility assessment of the 26, 000 square foot Crete Public Library. As a result, a Facilities Evaluation and Capital Replacement Plan was created to assist the Board in planning future capital expenditures. The plan evaluated the existing building envelope, select site amenities, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems, and fire protection systems, and assessed the general condition of each to determine approximate life expectancy and replacement cost.
JMA completed the upgrades to the exterior windows, concrete walk replacement, masonry repair, roofing repair, and exterior painting. JMA was also directed to review and propose modifications , repairs and upgrades to the existing elevator equipment.
