JMA Architects was hired to restore a 19th century vacant department store to its original storefront. As shown below, the main inhabitants of this long-vacant building were spiders and rodents. Thanks to historical photos and imagination, this building was transformed into a modern art studio, complete with artist nooks, lower level art classrooms, and a private second story studio.
