The Our Lady of Guadelupe Plaza is located on the property of the Shrine of Christ’s Passion — a half‐mile trail that contains life-sized bronzed statues depicting the Station of the Cross. Visitors from all over the globe travel to experience this beautiful site. The Plaza features two bronze statues commemorating the vision Juan Diego experienced in the mountains of Mexico where the Blessed Mother first appeared to him in December of 1531. The Plaza also has large areas to sit and pray, a small chapel, and a gift shop. JMA was honored to design this Plaza and the adjacent Visitors’ Center.
