The St. Maria Goretti Bell Tower supplements the main church (designed by others) providing a focal point and housing the italian bells to be heard from miles around. This bell tower was originally planned during the construction of the main church building, but only now has come to fruition. The tower has a 576 square foot base, and stands approximately 120 feet to the top of the cross. Its construction is a combination of traditional masonry and precast concrete, with a pre-manufactured custom spire. The carillon of five bells was artfully crafted by Campane Marinella, one of the oldest, traditional bell makers in Italy. Click below to hear them ring for the first time.
